Recipe: Lisa’s Salacious Spanish Fly
From Bite Me Cookbook: What do Beavis and Butt-Head, Henry IV and Van Halen all have in common? Apart from unkempt hair, it’s gotta be the powder of a dead and dried beetle. A rumored aphrodisiac, Spanish Fly has been slipped in a schools’ milk supply (uh huh huh huh huh Beavis and Butt-Head), ingested in dangerous doses (by randy Henry the Great) and immortalized in song (whalin’ Halen). But, what if you don’t want to gulp a potentially lethal insect? Send 3-Martini-Lisa to the bar. She’s shaken up (in a Charo “Cuchi-Cuchi” kinda way) a drink that’ll knock your socks off…and maybe a few other things too.
Ingredients
- 2 parts cola (Lisa’s Coca-Cola, I’m Pepsi)
- 1 part vanilla vodka
- 1 part butterscotch ripple liqueur
- 1 part banana liqueur
- a splash of vanilla extracts
Directions
- Gently shake ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker. Serve immediately.
